It looks like the 2nd Amendment could be back on the menu, boys!

This week, the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives terminated the "Zero Tolerance Policy" put in place by the Biden administration that threatened to revoke dealer licenses for different infractions.
From ZeroHedge:
As set out by the Biden administration, the Zero Tolerance Policy set out to yank firearm-dealers' licenses if they were found to have made any of a number of infractions, such as 'willfully' selling guns to convicted felons, failing to perform a background check, or failed to help police trace weapons used in crimes. Some critics said it was a pretext for reducing the number of firearms dealers in the country.
And that's not the only Biden-era gun policy that could go by the wayside. The Trump administration has also targeted a pair of other firearm regulations enacted under Sleepy Joe for elimination.
GOA also announced that two other noteworthy deregulatory moves are coming soon. The first would kill the Biden-era ban on pistol braces, which turned millions of peaceable Americans into felons for owning something that was legal when they acquired it.
Here's a helpful guide to remind you how the ATF's classifications around braces and stocks are absolutely insane:
Biden's rule was so unconstitutional that it got effectively killed by the courts:
And just because I like mercilessly picking on the ATF, here's a reminder of how incompetent the people who want to regulate your guns are with said guns:
A Biden DOJ policy requiring background checks for private sales is also reportedly in the line of fire. I'll explain why that is important in a moment:
Another rule is in the White House's sights: The one requiring a background check on a private gun sale, in a way that critics said could ensnare a widow selling her late husband's shotgun to a friend. Licensed firearms dealers were already required to perform background checks, but the Biden administration expanded the interpretation of who is considered to be 'engaged in the business' of selling firearms.
The Biden admin wants you to believe that two lawfull citizens exchanging a rifle is a threat to public safety, even though private sales have been normal since the country's founding 250 years ago.
Under the guise of "safety," the Biden admin wanted to force private citizens to use registered federal firearms dealers. It then put the squeeze on those dealers to remove anyone who wouldn't comply with its demands, while at the same time asking the compliant dealers to provide the home addresses of customers - the first steps to establish a national database so the government knows who has what guns.

Having a president in the White House who respects the right to bear arms and knows the importance of the 2nd Amendment as a safeguard against tyranny makes all the difference in the world.
Still ... I'm not going to be that impressed until the ATF is abolished, I can put a stock on whatever gun I want, and suppressors don't require tax stamps.
But I'll still celebrate being on the right trajectory with a few new purchases!
