Dude with an active warrant tried to apply for a carry permit using Barack Obama's name ๐Ÿ˜‚

Last year, 51-year-old Robert Joseph Hallick was denied a handgun permit by the Tennessee Department of Safety.

The Chattanooga man's request for such a permit was refused because he had an open warrant for his arrest in Michigan and had an "adjudicated or committed mental defective," which is government-speak for "he has a mental disability or illness."

Robert, being a cunning man, came up with a brilliant idea for how to get around our system of firearm background checks (you know, those things Leftist politicians claim don't already exist):

Send in a new request under the name of former President Obama.

On January 21, the government received Robert's new application with the name and signature of "President Barack H. Obama" and backdated in October.

Twins?

Robert was subsequently arrested.
