What did he mean by this?
It's normal to have a few brain glitches when you're on stage under hot lights in front of a few hundred million people.
But I really want to know what he was trying to say here.
If we didn't know that the Democrats are running on Kamala's stated intent to ban "assault weapons" - by which they mean modern semi-automatic rifles that use polymer stocks and handrails - I'd actually say that Walz's answer on gun control was well stated. I may not agree with most of his position, but it was logical and thoughtful.
But "friends with school shooters"?
I thought that would be the end of it - the media glosses over any mistakes that a Democrat makes by inviting them on the "Today" show to talk about something like puppies and kittens - so I was genuinely surprised to see them ask him about the comment during a quick stop after the debate:
Gotta love how he pretended he was too focused on that pizza to hear.
Here's another angle:
The people need answers, Tim!! ๐
