On Friday evening, Elon Musk took to Twitter to call for the J6er known as "QAnon Shaman" to be freed from prison.

Elon tweeted "Free Jacob Chansley" (QAnon Shaman's real name) and shared a previously unseen video of Chansley reading aloud a tweet from President Trump on January 6 at the Capitol, telling protesters to go home and remain peaceful.

Elon elaborated, saying Chansley was "falsely portrayed in the media as a violent criminal who tried to overthrow the state."

Chansley is currently serving 41 months in federal prison for a felony charge of obstructing an official proceeding.
