Elon Musk has created his own artificial intelligence company called X.AI Corp.

The company is incorporated in Nevada and Musk is the only listed director.

If you know Elon you know he's obsessed with the letter X. Since buying Twitter he has renamed it X Corp., which has a parent company named X Holdings Corp.

Musk has previously said that Twitter will eventually be part of an "everything app" called X.

It's not yet clear if Elon is planning a full-on generative AI product to counter the likes of ChatGPT and Google's Bard. However, according the Financial Times citing an inside source, Musk is in talks with existing SpaceX and Tesla investors regarding investments in the upcoming AI venture.

FT's source said "A bunch of people are investing in it ... it's real and they are excited about it."
