Billionaire and king of making everybody mad on Twitter, Elon Musk, had a little story to share about Apple.

Replying to a thread about Apple's intent to produce an electric passenger vehicle by 2024 using new battery tech, Musk revealed that just a few years ago the tech giant had a chance to purchase Tesla for 1/10th of their current valuation but took a hard pass.

During the darkest days of the Model 3 program, I reached out to Tim Cook to discuss the possibility of Apple acquiring Tesla (for 1/10 of our current value). He refused to take the meeting.

Brrrrrr! Anybody else feel that chill?

Musk is strutting that "I told you so" attitude now since Tesla's stock has absolutely soared this year and they are now more valuable than the world's top 7 automakers COMBINED.
