You might have seen this WNBA clip floating around the internet this week.
Caitlin Clark's "hard foul" against Angel Reese needs a bit more context.

And then the obvious one:
These two girls have had quite the rivalry going back to their college days, and it would've been one of the biggest rivalries in sports had Angel Reese been a top-tier player like Clark is.
Anywho, this little flagrant foul has made headlines since it went down on Saturday, some even suggesting that the Indiana fans were "racist" for cheering when Angel missed the free-throw after the foul.

And what I brought you here for starts with former Redskins quarterback RGIII's comments on the play.
He called out Angel Reese, like many have, but get a load of this response from ESPN analyst Ryan Clark.
If you're RGIII, when is the last time within your household you've had a conversation about what [Reese is] dealing with? You haven't been able to do that because in both of your marriages you've been married to white women.
You haven't had opportunities to have those conversations to educate you on what they're feeling, what black women deal with, what they're seeing when they think of a young Angel Reese.
Essentially, RGIII cannot talk about Angel Reese because he has a white wife??
Here's RGIII's response to Ryan's comments:
Other sports commentators had some thoughts:
So will ESPN punish Mr. Clark for his racism?
