You might consider arson, vandalism, and assault to be acts of violence, but ABC News apparently doesn't — at least not in this case. Look at how they described the violence that took place on Saturday night in California:
So violence is now defined as "intensified peace."
Don't you just hate it when things get so peaceful, so intensely calm and serene, that fires break out and people get injured?
