Expelled Tennessee Democrat Justin Pearson preached in Memphis on Easter Sunday and prayed to "Mother God" while asking his ancestors to speak through him

Last week, Republicans in Tennessee kicked out a couple of Democrats who led a riot in the capitol and took over the house floor with a bullhorn while shouting to protesters in the balcony.

Now, Justin Pearson of Memphis, who compared himself to "Black Jesus" last week, preached in his Universalist Unitarian church this Easter and made the sermon all about himself.

Here Pearson prays to Mother God and invites his dead ancestors to speak through him:

Mother god, creator god, loving god, holy god, take this your servant made from dust and connect it with the raw materials of stardust to speak in this moment.

The sad part is, this guy is preaching in Memphis and he thinks he is Martin Luther King. And Democrats online are propping him up as if he is MLK.

But Justin Pearson is NOT Martin Luther King Jr.

King may have had some bad theology, but he never prayed to a "mother god."

Maybe I am not up on the Universalist lingo, but what's this about stardust? Is he in love with the Willie Nelson album?

To the ancestor preacher who made sermons hymns, moans, and groans and spirituals from the bondage of slavery, speak now to this, your descendant.

He then prays specifically to his deceased relatives – you know, the type of thing pagan religions once did.

The whole service is here if you want to sit through this whole thing and get a lesson in bold heresy.

Not to be outdone in disrespect for Christ's sacrifice, Pearson's fellow expelled Democrat Justin Jones decided to make Easter about himself as well.

Jones wants to say that he himself was crucified because the mean old Republicans enforced house rules.

Thank goodness Republicans removed these riotous, depraved men from office.
