Failing and flailing CNN is swinging for the fences and going all out to try and save their network from becoming completely irrelevant.
Over the weekend, news broke that the joke of a network would be bringing on one of America's favorite funnymen – the pride of Leeds, Alabama – to host a show with Gayle King.
Guys, I love Charles Barkley. He's one of the funniest men alive.
But even he ain't saving CNN.
The show is going to be called King Charles (get it, because she's named King and he's Charles?) and it will air on Wednesday nights.
CNN is hoping this may take back a little bit of the cable news audience that's being gobbled up by Fox.
This is an odd move for Chuck. I imagine it must have taken a dump truck full of money to convince the man who said he was ready to quit TV in 2023 because you can't say anything without making people mad, to now join the biggest cancel culture offender.
Here are Chuck's thoughts on the show:
I doubt that CNN is going to allow Chuck to be himself and neutral. But who knows?
Maybe the Round Mound of Rebound can help CNN rebound from their truly dismal rating disaster.
But I doubt it!
