Chelsea Timmons was delivering one last Favor order for the day when road conditions began worsening faster than she expected. When she arrived at her stop, her car got stuck in the driveway of Nina Richardson and Doug Condon.
When it became clear that she wouldn't be able to get a tow truck out that day, Richardson and Condon invited her to stay the night. They even shared their Valentine steak dinner with her.
"Their home still has water and power so we are clean and warm. They have groceries (I know, I delivered them) so we are fed," Timmons wrote in her Facebook post, "How AMAZINGLY BLESSED am I right in this moment?!"
To show her gratitude, she baked them a coconut cake.
A lot of people found themselves in unusual circumstances during the historic storm last week, but Chelsea's story takes the cake. The coconut cake that is.
