Remember when Fauci & Co. in 2019 pondered the idea of a disruptive, urgent call (possibly an "outbreak ... in China) that would allow for the rollout of mRNA flu vaccines?
Well, it looks like that whole idea isn't going so well:
Yes, according to FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, the mRNA flu shots are failing.
A recent mRNA flu shot ... failed in seniors. The trial showed zero benefit.
Well, we're not just going to rubber stamp new products that don't work, that fail in a clinical trial. It makes a mockery of science if we're just going to rubber stamp things with no data.
And that was the MO in the Biden administration with the eternal Covid booster approvals for young, healthy kids.
This isn't to say that all mRNA flu shots are not "working" in seniors, but it does shine a bit of light on the Trump administration's position on the clot shots.
This comes as the FDA gets more strict on vaccine approval.

Makary's comments came the day after FDA's top vaccine regulator, Dr. Vinay Prasad, told his team the agency would change its annual flu vaccine framework, update vaccine labels to be ‘honest,' and make other changes to how it reviews vaccines, according to contents of an internal email reviewed by NPR and reported on first by a PBS News Hour correspondent and later by The Washington Post.
Prasad wrote that the FDA would also no longer authorize vaccines for pregnant women without stricter requirements. And for pneumonia vaccines, manufacturers will have to prove they reduce disease rather than show they generate antibodies. He also raised questions about giving multiple vaccines at the same time ...
The changes could make it much more difficult and expensive for vaccines to get approved, further limiting the availability of vaccines.
