Federal judge orders FBI to turn over Covenant shooter manifesto

An online publication in Tennessee has been suing the FBI for access to the Covenant trans shooter's manifesto and a federal judge just stepped in and ruled that the FBI had to hand it over.

Well, hand it over to the court first. Then the court will decide if the online paper can see the tranifesto.

Leheay says right now he believes it's more likely the documents will be released either in full or in part first by the decision made by the federal judge.

"I'm fully confident that after she reviews them, she will conclude correctly that it is in the public interest to have all these documents released," added Leheay.

The manifesto has been majorly controversial ever since the shooting up of a Christian school by a radicalized transgender individual nearly a year ago in Nashville, TN.

In November, conservative personality Steven Crowder released leaked portions of the manifesto. (We covered those here, here, and here.)

Metro PD in Nashville has been hiding the manifesto and they turned it over to the FBI, which has been even more cagey about it (cuz of course).

Then there's this. ๐Ÿ‘‡

As we have reported in the past, Covenant parents have been vocal over the past year in support of not releasing the manifesto, voicing their concerns at protests and hearings in the state House.

And by "Covenant parents" they actually mean a group of people led by Brent Leatherwood head of the Southern Baptist Convention's ERLC who has led the fight to keep the manifesto hidden.

Pray truth and justice win over partisan politics.
