Firefighters in New York rescued a naked man who had been stuck in a theater's bathroom wall for several days

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that headline up there...

Here's Fox News:

See, that headline doesn't tell you that this happened in a theater. And I find that an important part of the story.

Anyhow...

Employees are not sure how or why this dude was in the theater. They noticed him walking around a few days before his eventual rescue, but once he was gone they thought he had left.

Here's Facebook:

So this bro made his way into one of the Landmark Theater's crawl spaces and then apparently slipped down into the wall of one of the bathrooms. He spent about 2-3 days in the building and somewhere along the line he managed to lose all of his clothes.

Gross!

Luckily, once employees heard his cry for help they were able to contact the fire department and get him out of there.

Firefighters with Rescue Company 1 drilled a hole in the wall and used a fiber-optic camera to find the man's exact location in the wall, the department said.

After determining the best way to extract the man, officials said firefighters carefully cut through several layers of drywall and structural clay tile to reach him.

The 39-year-old man was not wearing any clothes when firefighters freed him.

And that's your naked story for the week.
