Fleeing Florida motorcyclist flips off cops, immediately gets T-boned by truck

Florida Man is back at it again!

Let me set the stage for you ... When Volusia County Deputy Bissonnete attempted to pull over a group of motorcyclists for popping wheelies on Friday, the group decided to do the dash instead, leading the police on a high-speed chase. Then one of those super cool bikers, Joshua Richardson, decided to cast a backwards glance to the pursuing officers and flip them the bird … and immediately got freaking T-boned by a truck at the intersection!

Thankfully and miraculously, the guy wasn't killed. Here's the video (language warning):

Yeah.

You gotta love the exchange that happened once the cops caught him after a short foot chase.

"Idiot," one of the deputies said.

"I know," Richardson responded weakly.

The conversation between the cops and the now-one-legged perp continues in the full video beyond what you see in the shortened version above.

"Do you think this is funny?" Richardson asked as two cops fist-bumped. A deputy answered in the negative: "No, I don't think it's funny. It's incredibly stupid."

When Richardson whined and moaned about his injured leg, a deputy replied, "You know how your leg doesn't get hurt? You don't run from the cops and crash your bike."

In the end, Richardson was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, resisting without violence, and leaving the scene of a crash. Additionally, he is receiving traffic citations for his failure to stop at the light, and passing in a no-pass zone. It remains unknown if the truck driver or any of the other passengers were injured, or if the other reckless motorcyclists have been apprehended.

Perhaps the Volusia County Sheriff's Facebook post about the incident summed it up best: "Here's a good way to get yourself killed."

Hope that dude knows how lucky he is to be alive.
