Back in spring, a Florida man allegedly stole $7,000 worth of scratch-off tickets from a convenience store in St. Petersburg. He would, I kid you not, return to the Circle K hours later to redeem his winnings.

This is Not The Bee.

This story happened back in May, but many of the details are just now being made public. And let me tell you, the details are amazing.

So first, as you might imagine, 43-year-old Justin Farley walked into the Circle K, did his thing, and robbed them of what would become $7,000 worth of lottery tickets.

And since it takes a while to scratch off as many tickets as Farley stole, he would return to an area 7-Eleven forty minutes later to redeem his winnings. The tickets were either not activated by the clerk at Circle K, were reported stolen, or they were just duds, so this did not work like Farley thought it would and the tickets wouldn't pay out. So he headed -- get this -- back to the Circle K which he had robbed hours earlier.

Once again, it didn't work. So he left. But then minutes later he returned to try again, and failed.

So what did he do?

Well, he drove back to the aforementioned 7-Eleven and robbed the place for $120 and a pack of Newports. He used a replica Glock to intimidate the clerk.

Many pieces of evidence would lead police to arrest Farley, mainly his license plate and surveillance video.

Farley faces charges for grand theft and commercial burglary, and has also now been federally charged with interference with commerce by threat or violence.
