Florida man mows down Biden yard signs on backhoe in drunken rampage

This is what happens when you cross Florida Man with the Election.

26-year-old James Blight was arrested for trespassing on a construction site, grand theft, and criminal mischief after he stole a backhoe and began running over and digging up Biden signs outside homes in Haines City, Florida. According to Blight, he was too drunk to remember the event, although police say he didn't appear intoxicated when arrested.

The former vice mayor of the city, Adam Burgess, described the scene that unfolded as Blight arrived at his house:

"This man came onto my property, took the two Joe Biden signs I had in my yard and then came back with a bulldozer to run down my fence," said Burgess.

Of course, Burgess also called the incident a hate crime and referenced Donald Trump's "dog whistles." The media was also all too eager to pounce on the story of a white man mowing down Biden signs in a predominantly black neighborhood. One outlet even proclaimed that Blight was a Trump supporter, confirming the narrative of RaCiSm that journalists everywhere have tried so hard to sell.

("What does the president have to say about this?" Uh, probably that everyone involved in this thing is a knucklehead, from the actual drunk guy to the pandering media to a virtue signaling former politician looking to score points.)

I mean, I don't know what's funnier: a man mowing down political signs or the media's response to it.

Alternatively, this was just Florida Man being Florida Man.

You do you, Florida Man. You do you.

But maybe tone down the bulldozing of property a bit. Thanks.
