Florida woman Melanie Davis is being charged with armed burglary with battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, simple battery, and criminal mischief after a man canceled their plans to "hang out" last week and she apparently lost her mind.
After he canceled on her, she showed up at his house at 3 AM and began yelling at him from the yard. Investigators report that she proceeded to climb a fence, push through a door, and began punching him.
During the fight, she grabbed a garden hoe and did some serious damage to the victim's arm, letting him know that he messed with the wrong garden hoe.
Why didn't he want to hang out with her? It's a real mystery, folks!
As a result of the altercation, the man was taken to the hospital to treat the cut on his arm. Meanwhile, Davis was promptly taken to the Polk County Jail for the 28th time since 1997.
Word to the wise: You won't have to cancel plans with someone if you refrain from making them in the first place!
