A beauty queen and former Miss Grand Ukraine has apparently traded in her high heels for combat boots, joining the Ukrainian military in its push against the Russian invasion.
Anastasia Lenna, Ukraine's 2015 representative in the Miss Grand International beauty contest, has answered the call to defend her home, according to her Instagram account.
"Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed!" said one post made in English on Saturday, accompanied by a photo of armed soldiers blocking a roadway.

My first instinct is to think this is just an IG stunt for likes, but honestly, Russia is a commie dictatorship and they will have no mercy on well-known Ukrainians who publicly resist their invasion like this. Putin is renowned for murking his detractors. I wouldn't be surprised if this lady is actually fighting – or at least actually preparing to fight.
Ukrainians' resistance to the Russian tyrants is truly inspiring.
UPDATE: Because many of you had thoughts about this story – yes, that is an airsoft gun from a previous photoshoot. But the point is that every Ukrainian, even beauty pageant winners, are getting testy with Russia.
