Ex-Jets QB Mark Sanchez isn't the only retired football player in hot water, as former all-pro NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was arrested by U.S. Marshals and extradited from Dubai to the U.S. to face attempted murder charges.

According to USA Today, Brown's latest legal problem stems from an altercation in Miami back in May.

The 37-year-old had been in Dubai, United Arab Emirates prior to his extradition, which came over four-and-a-half months after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Brown was temporarily detained following the event hosted by streamer Adin Ross in May.

Brown was later charged with attempted murder and had a warrant issued for his arrest in Miami-Dade County, Florida, on June 11.

Brown initially commented on the situation back in May via a post to his X account.

Well, you were arrested now, bud.

The longtime Pittsburgh Steelers star had a spectacular fall from grace on the gridiron, bouncing around to a few teams at the end of his career before memorably running shirtless off the field in the middle of a game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brown alluded to his arrest and upcoming legal battle in a Thursday X post:

The founder of CTESPN is working hard to establish his CTE defense.

If there's anything you always are, AB, it's entertaining.
