Twitter just locked out The Babylon Bee's editor-in-chief for this tweet ... I guess it's okay to PUT people in concentration camps, just not to JOKE about it

Kyle Mann has been locked out of Twitter for making a joke.

From the Bee's CEO, Seth Dillon:

He's not harassing anyone here. He's making a joke (at Twitter's expense!) about how Big Tech doesn't care about Chinese oppression, but they will cancel anyone who fails to call a man a woman. If you doubt me, look at all the people on Twitter, Communist Chinese leaders included, that are allowed to perpetrate literal genocide and hate crimes and still be on the platform.

According to Managing Editor Joel Berry, our boy Kyle is trying to resolve the conflict by explaining the joke over to the NPC knuckleheads at Twitter:

You may think it's easy to just ignore Twitter, but remember that it's a major outlet that influences news, education, and literal law around the world. It's also a major revenue stream for many businesses who are forced into the Big Tech marketing system to stay afloat.

It's worth fighting against discriminatory policies on platforms that claim to be the new public square.

And The Bee is gonna fight.

Buckle up, lords and ladies, because comedy ain't dead yet!
