Shocker: Most Americans are against trans-ing the kids!
As The Left has allied itself with groomers, pushing LGBT ideology on toddlers, trans-ing kids, and pushing abortion on demand for any reason up until birth, more people are now calling themselves "social conservatives" than they have in a decade.
I guess when all it takes to a "social conservative" is to say "wait until they're 8 years old before grooming kids" it's not a surprise that a record number of individuals are identifying on the rightwing side of social issues.
More Americans this year (38%) say they are very conservative or conservative on social issues than said so in 2022 (33%) and 2021 (30%). At the same time, the percentage saying their social views are very liberal or liberal has dipped to 29% from 34% in each of the past two years, while the portion identifying as moderate (31%) remains near a third.
Yeah, when The Left is all on board with trans-ing the kids and aborting babies at nine-months, it's no surprise that Americans would be nearly two-thirds moderate or conservative on the issues.
The increase in conservative identification on social issues over the past two years is seen among nearly all political and demographic subgroups. Republicans show one of the largest increases, from 60% in 2021 to 74% today. Independents show a modest uptick of five percentage points, from 24% to 29%, while there has been no change among Democrats (10% in both 2021 and 2023).
It's the Mulvaney effect! The Left has gone too far!
This is good news. This means Republicans who used to not care about social issues have had their eyes opened by the radical Left.
AND it means that independents are being turned off by the radicals as well.
This is a historic opportunity for Republicans to run and win on social issues.
Since 2021, there have been double-digit increases in conservative social ideology among middle-aged adults -- those between the ages of 30 and 64. At the same time, older Americans' ideology on social issues has been stable, while there has been a modest increase in conservative social ideology among young adults.
The Youngkin victory in Virginia was the first sign that Republicans can win by being common-sense thinkers on social issues. Opposing CRT, gender theory, and sexuality in schools is a winning issue.
All they had to do was leave the kids alone. But they just couldn't do it.
In addition to this, in other good news, more people are economically conservative as well. That number has reached 44% of Americans that identify as economically conservative and 33% as moderate.
That's 3/4 of the country that thinks the Biden admin's radical approach to the economy has gone too far. The country is on our side!
I can't wait to see how Republicans screw this up.
