These gender reveal parties are really getting out of control.

California has been battling wildfires throughout this summer, with three different blazes active right now.

Officials have announced that one of the massive wildfires was started by a "smoke-generating pyrotechnic device" used in a gender reveal party in San Bernandino, causing, so far, 3,000 residents to flee and 7,000 acres to burn.

Efforts to contain the fire are still underway.

In addition to the wildfires, California is dealing with a record heatwave, rolling power outages, and a tyrant of a governor. I'm told some people still choose to live there, for some reason.

And seriously people, cool it with the insane gender reveal parties for goodness sake.
