Before Thursday, June 29, 2023, nobody had ever been bold enough to just get up and walk away at the end of a live network television interview. It just wasn't done. Some had tried and failed. Most were too scared to even try. It was a frontier to which no man had traveled.
Then came President Joe Biden. A trailblazer. A visionary. A man with no use for ancient, antiquated customs. "When this interview is over," he said, "I'm going to walk out while the host is giving her post-conclusion segue."
And that's just what he did.
