They're not even trying to hide it anymore.

Think about it for a sec ... what is President Biden even trying to say here? "We can't just build back to the way things were before" ... what do you mean, like, the most prosperous economy in the history of the world?

Businesses booming?

Lowest unemployment for minorities in history?

What exactly is so scary and unacceptable about the way things were before the pandemic?

"We need to reimagine and build a new American economy," he says. Translation: We need to reduce liberty even further, get people more and more dependent on the government, ratchet up taxes through the roof, keep the fear-machine pumping, and usher full-fledged socialism into America.

When the president himself makes it so glaringly obvious that the left sees the pandemic as an opportunity to bring socialism to America, it makes it very hard to trust anything they say about the pandemic. Because to them it's a tool, a weapon, a means of accomplishing a goal. The pandemic benefits them. And that should concern all of us.

That's why they keep the fear turned up to 10. A scared (and cowardly) populace will readily hand over liberty to the government if it makes them feel safer.

The Democrats' pandemic plans are now as clear as they could be. The question is: Has this been their plan all along?
