This is an absolutely heartbreaking thread.
What we have done to kids by making them wear masks and by wearing masks ourselves has caused emotional and developmental damage beyond what we can imagine.
Read this thread that details how a speech therapist is dealing with youngsters, as young as 3 and 4, who are incredibly behind on their speech development.
These types of articulation errors are usually seen with children who have neurological impairments or syndromes with associated speech and language impairments. I've never had so many referrals in my life for young healthy children with such severe articulation impairments.
This isn't just one testimony, by the way. It's a trend.
It's a shame that parents are voluntarily masking their kids out of fear. This is an example from Maryland, a blue state where people are Covid crazy. They've bought into the fear narrative hook, line, and sinker.
Kids should never have been masked for Covid!
