Every Democrat running for office likes to repeat the tired line, "Republicans just want "tax cuts for the wealthy."
Even in the debate, Kamala Harris said about Trump,
When you look at his economic plan, it's all about tax breaks for the richest people.
But if that's true, the wealthy must be a super self-destructive group because they donate way, way more money to Democratic candidates. Just look at this list of corporate sponsors:
Top 5 donors to Kamala:
Google: $1,464,292
Microsoft: $743,045
Brown & Brown (insurance firm): $324,568
Johnson & Johnson: $239,394
Apple: $225,390
Top 5 donors to Trump:
American Airlines: $134,174
Walmart: $83,908
Boeing: $82,761
Lockheed Martin: $69,552
United Airlines: $67,742
Quiver Quantitative, the group that compiled the list, also included this important note:
Note that this includes data from company PACs and company employees. This only includes donations to the candidates' principal campaign committees and does not include donations to associated PACs. Many big-money donations are excluded as a result.
It's not just woke billionaire CEOs that are giving. The employees are just as radically far-left.
Google and Microsoft alone are responsible for millions in donations, and they are a couple of the wealthiest companies on the planet, not to mention their stranglehold on information via web browsers and search. Throw in Facebook, Apple, and Amazon, and you're talking about companies worth trillions supporting the Democrat candidate.
This might have something to do with Trump's plan to raise taxes (tariffs) on companies selling out America overseas, but Big Tech has historically aligned with far-left candidates for ideological reasons as well.
One thing is certain: If Kamala is trying to make herself out to be the candidate of the middle and lower class, she is doing a terrible job at it.
