Here's a perfect example of how the media can dishonestly frame an entire narrative

The New York Times, a former newspaper, put a headline out Thursday morning that perfectly captures the way that the corporate media can dishonestly frame an issue, like immigration, and shift the blame to the Right.

Check out this tweet and headline and see if you can spot the issue.

It's right there at the front of the headline.

GOP Governors Cause Havoc...

Okay, here's what's happening.

The Biden administration has let the southern border become completely lawless, with illegal crossings at an all-time high.

Republican governors, specifically Greg Abbott in Texas, have decided to force DC and New York, as well as other liberal cities and states in favor of these open border policies, to put their money where their mouth is and take care of the immigration problem by busing immigrants out of Texas to these leftist cities.

And now you have The New York Times griping that there are humanitarian issues because of these Republican governors.

So we have people crossing the border illegally, a presidential administration encouraging this lawlessness, and red border states that don't want these immigrants setting up shop in their towns.

And now the governors are the ones "causing havoc"?

All the Republicans have done is taken a problem they did not want and they did not cause, and shipped it to places that encourage illegal immigration.

From the NYT:

Since April, Texas has delivered more than 6,200 migrants to the nation's capital, with Arizona dispatching an additional 1,000 since May. The influx has prompted Muriel E. Bowser, Washington's Democratic mayor, to ask the Defense Department to send the National Guard in. The request has infuriated organizations that have been assisting the migrants without any city support.

Wait just a minute.

7,200?

Yeah, that's a significant number, but we had a 4-month period from January to May where MORE THAN 1 MILLION illegal immigrants entered the United States!

It's safe to say we've seen MILLIONS of illegals enter the US this year alone, thanks to the Democrats.

Arizona and Texas are dealing with HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of migrants flooding across MONTHLY and New York and DC are going into a panic because of 7,000?

We get 12 paragraphs into the story before the Republican side of the issue is even considered.

Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona, both Republicans, blame President Biden for record numbers of migrants crossing the southern border.

Cities along the border in Texas and Arizona have at times been overwhelmed with a surge in unauthorized border crossings that peaked under the Biden administration, which has sought to unravel some of the harsh border restrictions imposed by former President Donald J. Trump.

THAT'S THE ENTIRE STORY!

Border crossings have gone insane and Republican states are dealing with crises literally HUNDREDS of times more serious than New York taking in a few extra homeless.

Governor Abbott wrote a letter to NYC's Eric Adams and DC's Muriel Bowser, explaining his side.

The situation has led to back-and-forth accusations with the Democratic mayors on the East Coast in recent weeks. In the latest salvo, on Monday, Mr. Abbott sent a letter to the mayors, Mr. Adams and Ms. Bowser, inviting them to tour the "dire situation" on the border with Mexico.

"Your recent interest in this historic and preventable crisis is a welcome development โ€” especially as the president and his administration have shown no remorse for their actions nor desire to address the situation themselves," Mr. Abbott wrote.

Abbott's sarcasm is absolutely delicious.

Suddenly, Democrats in these major cities care about the border crisis, now that it's come to their front porch.

If you only read the corporate media outlets, the Republicans would obviously be the bad guys here.

But let me be clear:

DC is causing the problem on the border. Texas is simply taking the border to them.
