Here's what to serve your vegan and vegetarian family members at Thanksgiving this year
· Nov 16, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Thanksgiving is one week away and you can see it now: The turkey's cooked, the ham is resting... when suddenly your family members from Petaluma show up like:

Leaving you, the chef, uncertain what to do:

But never fear!

There's plenty of room in between the pork steaks, bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts and fried chicken for you to accommodate your, ah, more selective loved ones. Here are some tips on what to serve your macrobiotic cousins:

A bowl of Skittles.

Here you go, family, here's your, um protein.

A banana.

Just a banana. That's all. If they complain, give them two bananas.

Sticks of white bread (egg free, of course).

You could just give them the white bread outright, but it wouldn't be, you know, special or whatever. Cutting the bread into sticks lets 'em know you care.

A single-celled protein combined with synthetic aminos, vitamins and minerals.

Everything the body needs!

A tall glass of icy water.

Free refills!

Be sure to wish your vegan family a Happy Thanksgiving as they enjoy all this fine food!
