It seems the whole world is split in two right now, and once again, for reasons known only to God in heaven above, the fault line is Donald Trump.

Lots of MSNBC consoomers are out there celebrating the fact that a 50-year politician activated members of his party to raid, indict, and potentially jail his main opponent - that's par for the course in places like Sub-Saharan Africa, but it's never been seen in what used to be the United States of America.

On the other side, the MAGA camp is feeling downcast - they've been warning about the Swamp for years and telling everyone that the fate of the Republic was balanced on the edge of a knife. After a decade of attacks on Donald Trump, they're wondering how so many Americans still aren't awake to what's happening.

I'm here to report the news, and I think this news will be interesting to both of those sides - terrifying for the leftists who just "saved" democracy by destroying it, and hopeful for the right-wingers that warned about this coming nightmare for years (and/or decades).

People are starting to pay attention.

I want you to understand what I'm seeing out there: The people posting these things aren't paid Republican pundits or the die-hard fans who've had T-shirts of Trump posing with a lion since 2015.

No, these people donating think Trump is really rough around the edges and might not even like him that much. These people are busy trying to provide for their families and have no time to focus on politics. These people really need the $100 they just donated to buy groceries this month.

But they are giving.

By the thousands. By the tens of thousands. By the hundreds of thousands.

That's not all. It isn't just the normal blue-collar American who is giving. The Silicon Valley moguls - once overwhelming supporters of all things Democrat - are breaking away in droves for Trump. If the whispers are true, there are many very rich men who know what time it is:

That's Shaun McGuire of Sequoia Capital. If you've never heard of him, it's because he's in a totally different world from most of us - a world that was exclusively left-leaning until 5 seconds ago.

He wrote a long article about how this verdict made his "blood boil."

Back in 2016 I had drunk the media Kool-Aid and was scared out of my mind about Trump. As such I donated to Hilary [sic] Clinton's campaign and voted for her.

By 2020 I was disillusioned and didn't vote - I didn't like either option.

Now, in 2024, I believe this is one of the most important elections of my lifetime, and I'm supporting Trump.

I know that I'll lose friends for this. Some will refuse to do business with me. The media will probably demonize me, as they have so many others before me. But despite this, I still believe it's the right thing to do.

Again, I'm seeing this from high-rollers in Silicon Valley and Wall Street. No one likes Joe Biden, and beyond that, many are starting to suspect that there might be malevolence behind his incompetence. Far from "healing the soul of the nation," he has done the very opposite, and everyone is suffering.

You don't need to love Trump to understand what is at stake. There's the machine on one side and the rest of us on the other. Trump, for those reasons known only to God, is the avatar for freedom in this current moment.

Lots of people who've never gotten involved seem to be realizing that today.
