If you weren't already worried about the 87,000 new IRS agents, wait till you see who's in charge of this cohort

Well, this news is simultaneously shocking yet not at all surprising.

The IRS is hiring 87,000 new IRS agents, and apparently, new agents have to be willing to exercise deadly force.

And if this doesn't worry you, it gets MUCH worse.

One of the IRS officials implicated in targeting conservatives for the Obama administration is now in charge of these 87k new IRS agents who are now coming with guns.

No way this turns out poorly.

From the Daily Signal:

The IRS commissioner said that Nikole Flax, deputy commissioner in charge of the Large Business & International Division, will lead the establishment of the agency's centralized office.

"We have a unique, once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform the IRS in a way to help taxpayers and fundamentally improve our tax administration work that is vital to the success of our country," Flax is quoted as saying in Retting's Friday memo. "This is an exciting opportunity, and we will be moving quickly with our work."

So who is Flax?

Here's a Daily Caller article from 2014 describing her involvement with President Obama's Lois Lerner IRS scandal.

Flax was a busy bureaucrat during her tenure at the IRS, where she worked for Lerner in the exempt organizations division among other roles. Flax made 31 visits to the White House between July 12, 2010 and May 8, 2013, according to White House visitor logs. Flax's visits started in the early days of the IRS targeting program and ended just two days before the IRS scandal broke on May 10, 2013. Flax met twice in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with Jeanne Lambrew, a top adviser to President Obama who exchanged confidential information on conservative groups with Lerner.

Flax was an apparent go-between for Lerner and Obama. No wonder she came so highly recommended to Joe Biden.

Here's the Time News:

One of the missing computer hard drives belonged to Nikole Flax, chief of staff to the then-commissioner of the IRS. Flax, by the way, visited the White House no fewer than 31 times during the period the tea party was targeted between 2010 and 2012.

Her hard drive went mysteriously missing when the investigation started.

This woman likely covered up for Obama and Lerner and prevented investigation into the Tea Party targeting scandal.

Not only did the swamp not spit this person out, they protected her and promoted her.

That's the way it works in the swamp. It's like the mafia, you're rewarded for loyalty and protecting the swamp.

The IRS is doubling in size and the corrupt flunky who was intimately involved in using the IRS to target President Obama's political enemies is now in charge of the new division of armed IRS agents.
