Remember the Arabs who were in America illegally and got arrested for trying to get into Quantico? Yeah, they were just set free on bail.

In another "everything is fine" story, two illegal Jordanian migrants who decided to have a go at breaching Marine Corps Base Quantico back in May have walked free from federal custody after posting bail.

Yes, Quantico โ€” the place with the FBI Academy, the FBI Lab, and even the unit that flies the Marine One presidential helicopter.

What could possibly go wrong?

Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were set free after coughing up $15,000 and $10,000 respectively, despite one crossing the border illegally and another overstaying his student visa. ICE, in their infinite wisdom, decided to let them go.

Just two illegal immigrants from Jordan on a tourist visit to Quantico. Nothing to see here!

They even lied to the guards, claiming to be Amazon subcontractors making a delivery. But when they tried to force their way in, they were stopped by anti-vehicle barriers.

A federal law enforcement source told the New York Post that this was a "big-time intel failure, security failure." Meanwhile, Governor Glenn Youngkin is not amused. He wants the Biden administration to explain how these guys got so close to a military base and why their immigration statuses weren't disclosed sooner. According to Youngkin, this is just another example of the Biden administration's failure to secure the border, now reaching the gates of our military installations.

Hamdan and Dabous are set to appear in court in September. In the meantime, they've been ordered to pinky-promise to stay away from Quantico and any other military bases.

With the Biden-Harris administration handing out plea deals to the terrorists behind 9/11, I'm amazed that these two illegal immigrants weren't given a private guided tour of the Pentagon.
