"I'm not gonna let Canada tell me what I do and don't put in my body": Phillies catcher gives up quarter million dollars for not complying with jab rules
· Jul 13, 2022 · NottheBee.com

The Philadelphia Phillies are losing a key player in their series against the Toronto Blue Jays, and it's all because Comrade Trudeau and his vax policies are keeping the player from entering the country.

Here's what J.T. Realmudo had to say about the decision:

It's not worth it.

According to Yahoo Sports the estimated salary loss will be about $260,000.

With a five-year contract worth $115 million, I guess you could say he could afford to lose the money, but so many others in his position would just cave in and get the experimental shot.

It's more than the money. I am sure he is getting tremendous pressure from his team and from fans who want the team to win to take the jab and get out there.

That's a lot of pressure to withstand.

Good on Realmudo for not caving to the mob.
