Bowman walks back talking points after his staff attempted to deflect from his fire-alarm controversy by telling fellow Dems to call Republicans "Nazis"

I guess this is becoming a "thing" now, so here's your latest update on the Jamaal Bowman fire alarm debacle.

In an attempt to put out the fire (pun very much intended) around Bowman's boneheaded stunt, pulling the fire alarm to avoid a vote, Bowman and his staff really put together a brilliant plan.

How can we make ourselves look less stupid?

Yes. The bold strategy was to tell all of his colleagues on The Left to call anyone talking about Bowman's childish ploy a literal Nazi.

One suggested response from Bowman's office to questions about the incident: "I believe Congressman Bowman when he says this was an accident. Republicans need to instead focus their energy on the Nazi members of their party before anything else."

And:

"MAGA Republicans have used this as an opportunity to distract from their attempt to shut the government down and to minimize January 6th insurrectionists."

To be clear, this is what his staff put together as their PR response to Bowman being a literal knucklehead. Just call everyone we don't like Nazis.

As for Bowman, the congressman claims he knew nothing about this memo and would NEVER call someone a Nazi if they weren't actually a Nazi.

How ridiculous to think that Jamaal Bowman would call someone a Nazi just because he disagreed with him or made him look bad!

Oh, by the way, here's Bowman calling The Daily Wire's Michael Knowles a Nazi because he thinks transgenderism is bad.

Guys, I'm starting to think that the Democrats aren't sending their best and brightest.
