Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa used his platform to profess his faith and we need more athletes to do the same

You won't see this video going viral anywhere, so I figured I'd give it to you here. The Dolphins lost big time to the Bills on Sunday, but that didn't keep the smile off of Tua Tagovailoa's face.

Here's why:

The best thing about being a believer of Jesus Christ, to me, is that the good Lord up above doesn't care whether you win a game, whether you lose a game… Allowing me this platform, to me, is the best thing in the world to be able to profess my faith, something that I firmly believe in, something that's been foundationally instilled in me at a young age. When I'm out there, I even pray before I go out to series and what not, like, I'm always praying…

I grew up in a non-denominational Christian church my entire life, so, yeah, it does a lot. And so, having to remember Scripture always keeps me encouraged in continuing to press forward, especially in times like this.

Perfectly said, Tua! Straight from the heart.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose a game, God is with you. The game is over, but God's still there. And that's all that matters.

We need to see more of this, Christian athletes.
