Warn your kids: Consuming Donald Trump can be hazardous to your health!
PBS executives were so concerned about airing former President Donald Trump's post-indictment speech that they slapped a warning label on the screen for viewers to read.
Here's the timely message, issued entirely in capital letters to make sure you don't miss one solitary scrap of its dire warnings:
EXPERTS WARN THAT INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS OR PEOPLE IN POWER CAN PROMPT INDIVIDUAL ACTORS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE.
Look, they're not wrong. I dunno if you've ever been to a mid-sized American city where Trump gives a speech, but when he does, man, it all breaks loose in nothing flat.
Of course, as Noam Blum notes, the network didn't appear quite as nervous as they let on:
Look, though, I don't need your moralizing. I'm not addicted to inflammatory rhetoric. I can quit anytime I want.
