In a stunning victory for Biden, out-of-control inflation skyrocketed at a 0.2% slower rate in April compared to March

Happy times are here again, folks: There's a chicken in every pot, a Chevelle Laguna in every garage, and inflation is spiraling upwards at just 96% of the rate it was last month!

The inflation rate was little changed from March to April, a potential sign that the rapid growth in the cost of goods and services may soon taper off.

Consumer prices rose 0.3 percent in April after rising 1.2 percent in March, according to data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday. Compared with one year ago, the inflation rate grew 8.3 percent in April. The number in March was 8.5 percent.

At last! The dollar means something again! Our purchasing power is secure!

Money has value once more!

Those nasty old economists, unfortunately, aren't getting on board with the exciting news:

Following the BLS report Wednesday, economists said they remain concerned that prices are not decelerating as rapidly as hoped...

"Excluding a decline in energy prices โ€” which appears outdated by this point โ€” the increases remain widespread. With the annual rate ticking down from 8.5 percent to 8.3 percent, it can be tempting to say we've seen the peak, but we've also been head-faked before as was the case last August."

I see not every "expert" has gotten the word: If you're not sufficiently enthusiastic about the Biden administration's successes, you'll find yourself on a one-way tenure track to a decidedly unpleasant kind of institution.

By the way, here's a good visual breakdown of how much you're paying for things this year:

Be sure to thank Democrats in November for this incredible "decline" in inflation!
