"It was fun, I'd do it again," says teen who saved kids from runaway boat after instructor fell overboard

Seventeen-year-old Brady Procon is being hailed as a hero after he jumped onto a runaway boat on New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee.

Watch as a neighbor drives a jetski alongside the out-of-control boat, and Procon jumps on to bring it safely to a stop:

WCVB News reported,

The operator, a sailing instructor, was mid-lesson teaching children how to sail when he reached for the tennis ball used to teach turning.

As he went for it, one of the kids' boats tipped over, the mast hit the instructor's throttle and sent him flying into the water and the boat in a spiral.

Brady Procon and his dad, Jeremy, were sitting on their porch overlooking the lake when the accident happened. Neighbor Justin King saw the runaway boat and told the teen to get the kids away from the boat.

Once the kids were safely out of the water, Brady jumped on the back of King's jetski, where King was able to get the teenager close enough to jump onto the circling boat.

Within a matter of seconds, Brady was able to bring the boat to a stop.

When asked what was going through his mind, our champ said,

I don't know. I didn't really think, it just came to me. I'm a little, I'm realizing what I did, a little bit scared me, but it was fun, I'd do it again.

Spoken like a true teenage boy.

The 17-year-old hero will be shipping off to the Navy in a few months. I think it's safe to say our Navy could use a few more guys like Brady!
