It's Been Two Years and Kamala Harris STILL Has Her Jussie Smollett "Modern Day Lynching" Tweet Up
· Jan 29, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Happy second birthday to one of the most ridiculous and melodramatic tweets of all time!

Here we sit two years after the completely and obviously fake story from Jussie Smollett has been utterly debunked and everyone involved has been thoroughly embarrassed and someway, somehow, Kamala Harris still has still not deleted this hilariously absurd tweet.

The "modern day lynching" Harris refers to is of course the incident where Jussie Smollett hired two Nigerian brothers to wear MAGA hats and yell "this is MAGA country," then tie a fake noose around his neck and splash some bleach on him, while Smollett bravely clutched his Subway sandwich for dear life. During a polar vortex. If you somehow missed the story you can find a quick summary from one Dave Chapelle here (language, duh).

Within two weeks the police determined Smollett's famous "MAGA Country" story was a complete and total hoax. Even Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has recognized that the story was a hoax and lobbied for the prosecution of Smollett for perpetrating the fake hate crime and wasting the city's time and resources.

And still, two years later, Kamala Harris has not deleted the tweet. Never apologized for sending the tweet. Never admitted she was fooled.

So, either the second in line for the presidency is either still foolishly holding on to the possibility that Smollett is telling the truth and there's still hope out there, or... she doesn't care at all about the truth, loves to stir up racial tension and slander the entire nation (which she now helps lead) as racist and, in general, doesn't have a problem leaving a lie like this out there because it "speaks to a larger truth" or some such nonsense.

One good thing that comes out of all of this foolishness is we got one of the best Charles Barkley clips of all time.
