Jamaal Bowman just suggested that Joe Biden not stop at pardoning his son, but pardon "the 40 people who are on death row right now," and "the 3,000 people who are in federal jail for trumped-up marijuana charges."
For real:
Bro, what we really should be talking about here is how Joe Biden pardoned his son for crimes committed between 2014 and today, and how 2014 is when Hunter Biden started working for Ukrainian gas company, Burisma. Also, we might talk about how President Trump was trying to get some information on these shenanigans back in 2019 and then was impeached for doing so.
But I guess when you go on CNN you're just there to make some fame for yourself on the internet before you ride off into the sunset as former Rep. Jamaal Bowman.
No, Biden shouldn't pardon all federal death row inmates. And no, Biden shouldn't pardon all federal marijuana prisoners. That's not how it works.
This pardon was only for Hunter, and the only extra you can expect here is a pardon for Joe's brother, Jim.
Sorry to break it to you, Jamaal. It is Joe Biden we're talking about here.
