It was announced Thursday morning that Joe Biden had approved a trade with Russia where they get the vicious, evil arms dealer known as "The Merchant of Death" so we get a whiny, entitled, basketball player who brought drugs illegally into Russia.
All along, the stories said that we were going to get Griner back in this trade, but we would also get Marine Paul Whelan, who has been in Russian prison since 2018.
But, guess what? Yeah, Biden brought back Griner and left Whelan behind.

When this trade was originally proposed, the US was supposed to get Griner and Whelan for Viktor Bout. Then Biden STILL went through with the deal WITHOUT Whelan who has been held for YEARS!
Why was this deal made?
Well, inadvertently, President of the American Teacher's Federation Randi Weingarten (the woman responsible for all the school lockdowns) said the quiet part out loud so we could get a clue:
Sure, Whelan is important. But Griner is a gay and black female. So it was REALLY important we bring her back.
Whelan just needs to hold on for a few more years, he is a white male after all.

She clearly shows the ONLY things that matter are identity points. Griner is female, black, and gay so she gets to the front of the prisoner exchange line.
