Earlier this month in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Elon Musk trolled Vladimir Putin by challenging him to "single combat" for the fate of Ukraine.
The leader of Chechnya responded back to the challenge – which Elon says is serious – making continued headlines over the last few weeks.
Now, Joe Rogan has entered the fight.
The podcast host and UFC commentator let Elon know that if he was serious about fighting Putin he would arrange all the training to prepare Elon for the fight. According to Business Insider, Rogan texted Elon when the challenge first broke the internet:
Rogan said on a March 22 episode of his podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience," that he had contacted Musk and floated the idea of Musk training with him.
"Elon Musk wants — he wants to fight Putin. Have you seen that?" Rogan asked his guest, Australian comedian Monty Franklin.
"I offered my services. I texted him. I said, 'Dude I will arrange all of your training.' 'If you really do fight Putin,' I said, 'I will arrange all your training,'" Rogan said. "It would be so f***ing epic."
With Rogan training Elon, I'd say that blackbelt Putin doesn't stand a chance. 😂
Rogan went on to breakdown what he thought would happen in the fight, in true UFC commentator mode.
Rogan then went on to say that Musk is a "strange character," while appearing to evaluate the 50-year-old entrepreneur's chances in a fight with the 69-year-old Russian leader.
"First of all, he's a very big man. He's not small. And Putin is smaller than me," Rogan said. "Elon is quite a bit bigger than him."
Alright, I'm sold.
Bring on the fight!
