Credit where it's due: "60 Minutes" actually asked serious questions to the woman who wants to be in charge of the U.S. military. You love to see it!
But wait, there's more! Kamala was asked why she's changed her position "on so many things." Check out her answer:
Speaking of her ability to lead the U.S. military and push back against the rise of China:
Next, I'll give you a longer clip about the economy so you can see how she answered (or didn't answer) how she would pay for her proposed ideas:
Bill Whitaker: "Pardon me, Madam Vice President, the question was how are you going to pay for it?"
Harris: [Non-answer]
Bill Whitaker: "But we're dealing with the real world here. How do you get it through Congress?"
Harris: [Non-answer]
Bill Whitaker: "Congress has shown no inclination to move in your direction."
Harris: "Trust me, bro"
This next clip was my favorite part because it's hilarious to think about Kamala Harris firing a Glock:
New test for president: Hand a candidate a popular gun model and see if they can correctly identify it, field strip it, and fire it.
My guess is that Kamala's knowledge of Glocks is about as informed as Die Hard.
Doesn't she just exude confidence, eloquence, and sharpness?
Kamala also thinks that Iran is the U.S.'s biggest enemy.
Oh, did I mention that VP-pick Tim Walz was on the segment as well?
He got pushback! He actually asked Tim Walz if he could be trusted!
Of course, I do have to criticize 60 Minutes for their Trump Derangement Syndrome. The program tried to backtrack on its interview with Trump in 2020 where they told Donald Trump that there was zero proof that Hunter Biden laptop was real.
Let's roll the tape!
The media can ask hard questions when it wants, and the media can also shift the narrative when it wants. Notice how 60 Minutes frames the story: They claim they never said Hunter's laptop "came from Russia."
But that was never the primary claim. That is what dozens of former intelligence officials claimed in a 2020 letter (even though the FBI knew the laptop was real and said nothing). That letter claimed "Russian disinformation," and based on that testimony, media outlets like CBS refused to cover the scandal.
If they treated Trump that way 4 years ago, why would he show up again? So they could edit his responses to look bad in a side-by-side interview where they make Kamala look amazing?
Far better to let Kamala fail on her own!
