I know this website is called "Not the Bee" but there are literal bees in this story.

The MLB game in Arizona had to be delayed because a swarm of bees decided to build a nest on the net behind home plate. Seriously.

Apparently, this is the second bee delay in this field's history!

The Diamondbacks called out the big guns to fix the problem. After an hour, they brought in a beekeeper to help take care of the infestation.

The dude just vacuumed those bees right up!

Two hours later than scheduled, the game began. And it started in the most appropriate way possible.

Yep, the dude got the honor of a ceremonial first pitch after saving the day.

Dude is a boss. He's eating it up!

If you stuck around to the very end of the game which was delayed two hours, you got an extra special treat.

Yep, a walk-off homer to complete the night.

Baseball really is the best, isn't it? ๐Ÿ˜Œ
