LINE CROSSED: Biden plans to tax our bacon and Americans have thoughts
· Mar 29, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Biden may be trying to rewrite biology, history, and the Constitution, but he's about to take a step too far: making meat more expensive.

Basically, the Biden administration is planning to use COVID health guidelines to create new regulations on the meat industry.

While this isn't a straight tax on meat to the consumer, these regulations will directly increase the cost of goods to the average person – and they will do so purposefully.

The goal of such regulation comes down to 1) getting bureaucratic funding somewhere down the line, 2) getting kickbacks from corporate lobbyists that want to see their competition hampered, or 3) strong-arming political opponents.

To that end, such regulations are, in fact, a tax.

Here was (probably) a live shot of Joe Biden discussing the plan with administration officials over some plant-based burgers:

Meat plants were shut down repeatedly last year due to Rona outbreaks, which caused supply chain disruptions and increased prices overall.

The Biden administration was supposed to unveil their designs for these new regulations by March 15, but they haven't – a move that has panicked meat industry experts and caused them to warn about any "political change" that could cause meat prices to soar.

Although I detest the way leftist government is trying to take away free speech and religious liberty, and while I abhor its attempts to disarm and discredit its own people, there are definitive lines said government can cross that go beyond the pale.

Taxing my bacon is one of them.

I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I guess the sagely wisdom of Ron Swanson was no joke after all:

I'll leave you with the thoughts of David, who summed it up best:
