Okay, this is crazy. They've removed Trump from the ballot in Colorado and not only are Democrats cheering on the move, but this lady is actually justifying the move by comparing Trump to Confederates who were kept off the ballot in reconstruction America.

For real.

Why are you standing with confederates who betrayed this country? ... [Reconstruction Republicans] clearly saw a threat in ex-confederates running for office, and so much so they amended the Constitution to prevent those traitors from running for office, and that should send a message that our electoral system can be used for nefarious purposes against democracy itself.

Bro, so according to this "analyst" who works for both MSNBC and The New York Times, Trump supporters are "standing with confederates" when we stand with Trump, and therefore it is good to keep him off the ballot.

So anyone you don't like "betrayed this country" and is a "traitor" and you think banning them from elections makes you the GOOD GUY? Does this woman even hear herself??
