This is absolutely brutal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle showed up at the Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee and the citizens of the United Kingdom were not all that excited by the presence of the couple who publicly left the royal family.

Yep, the formerly-royal couple was roundly booed by everyone.

From Daily Wire:

Leaving St. Paul's Cathedral on Friday after a religious service of thanksgiving marking the 70th year of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's reign, Great Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were booed by onlookers.

Queen Elizabeth did not attend the service after making three appearances on Thursday. She reportedly watched the service on television.

"The idea of Prince Harry getting booed by the British public would have been unthinkable three or four years ago," Piers Morgan commented.

Of course, if you leave the royal family and publicly trash them to the press, it's no shock that the people of Great Britain might not take kindly to you.

In May 2021, Harry harshly criticized his father, Prince Charles, as well as the rest of the royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

"My father used to say to me when I was younger … ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it's going to be like that for you,'" Prince Harry said, according to Page Six. "That doesn't make sense — just because you suffered, that doesn't mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite. If you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences that you had, you can make it right for your kids."

"Isn't this all about breaking the cycle?" he asked. "Isn't this all about making sure that history doesn't repeat itself?"

This is not someone grateful for all the privileges of royalty.

He and Meghan deserve all the boos they're getting!
