I feel it's important to remind you that nearly everything you hear from the legacy media is propaganda.
Interesting.
This story is by Glenn Kessler - you know, the one who kept a huge database that fact-checked every incorrect thing that Trump said for years, then shut it down once Biden took the throne. He is WaPo's premier fAct-ChEcKer.
He literally titles himself, "The Fact Checker."
You couldn't even come up with as creative of a headline for your puff-piece as the NYT, my man! Sad!
This is the guy that's coming to tell us how Biden paints in shades of nuance and plausibility when he tells bald-faced lies on a daily basis.
Sometimes the stories turn out to be largely true, such as the one about a confrontation as a 19-year-old lifeguard with a gang leader named Corn Pop.
But others fall short. As president, Biden has continued a tradition of embellishing his personal tales in ways that cannot be verified or are directly refuted by contemporary accounts.
Ah, he merely "fell short" and "embellished."
It always takes an army to drag Biden across the finish line, doesn't it?
I'll be honest with you up front, since Glenn won't be: Joe Biden lies every chance he gets. It's his nature. He came to power over 50 years ago during a time when you could give a speech and make up stories without the internet being able to check you in real-time.
And since Joe is barely aware of how the internet works because he is as old as my grandparents, he still lies daily, without reservation, because it has become his very way of living. To lie is to be Joe Biden. He takes after his father in that regard (let the reader understand).
But Glenn (who I will admit sometimes dabbles in actual journalism) is here to soften the blow of our liar-in-chief, who so admonishes us about the soul of our nation.
At least six times as president, most recently in comments to Hurricane Idalia victims Wednesday, Biden has exaggerated the extent of a fire that occurred at his house in 2004.
This is really what this article is about. Glenn "The Fact Checker" Kessler had to soften this very bad taste in America's mouth over the fact that Biden has now made two tragedies about himself in the last week.
Then Kessler wanders into other areas that are less important. With the main grievance out of the way, he can couch the stunningly insensitive response of Biden to these tragedies with other more "grandpa-like" tales.
- The tale of the Amtrak conductor
- The tale of the gay men in suits kissing
- The tale of his civil rights arrests
- The tales of a heroic uncle and the family hospital
See, Glenn doesn't want to get into water over actual things of global importance that affect the fate of the free world and human liberty.
That's why he won't bring up Joe Biden's repeated lies about his involvement with his son Hunter, for example.
Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg. The media doesn't like to even touch Joe's lies about his son, Beau. One has to wonder what other lies the president is telling that will affect 350 million Americans in drastic ways. I'm not sure if even Joe knows he's lying half the time because it's so natural for him. But it's given him power, that's for sure.
Joe Biden, I say this not to condemn you but to call you to repentance: You, sir, are a liar. One of the greats. WaPo will cover for you, but I will not, because there is a reckoning coming for you - and very soon - for all of eternity.
Repent. Tell the truth.
(The same goes for you, WaPo.)
Here's a few more Biden lies just so you see how easy it is for him:
