Remember the fact-checking database WaPo started under Trump's presidency? Yeah, now that Biden's in office, they're shutting it down. People had some thoughts about this.

If you don't know, Glenn Kessler is in charge of the "fact-checkers" over at WaPo. The database was started in 2017 specifically to fact-check Trump.

Here's what WaPo had to say about the announcement:

"Joe Biden era has offered a return to a more typical pattern when it comes to a commander in chief and his relationship with the facts — one that features frequent spin and obfuscation or exaggeration, with the occasional canard."

In other words:

The logic here is 1) that Biden doesn't lie as much as Trump and 2) that Trump was taking up too much of the massive newspaper's time.

The absurd conclusion, therefore, is that WaPo needs to shut down the database because Biden takes up too little of their time.

According to the media, Biden is just a harmless old grandpa who occasionally makes some adorable flubs, like spending trillions, burning the Constitution, and destroying the American Republic one woke bureau at a time.

If you want to know what this is about, it's that the media doesn't believe Joe Biden doesn't need to be checked because he believes leftist things.

In their religious worldview, that means he's on the side of facts, science, and history that will lead us to a new dawn of non-binary peoplekind!
