More than 4,000 acres have burned in less than 24 hours, consuming some of the richest neighborhoods of Los Angeles. The fires are ZERO PERCENT CONTAINED.
I'm not saying you can blame all the logistical failures on the ground today on this lesbian fire chief.
But I do know that LA residents should be asking why so much time, money, and energy was spent touting a lesbian fire chief and her desire to make the department more diverse instead of spending that time on refilling water reservoirs, hiring the best people, buying the best equipment, and practicing for wildfires.
